Research Activity:

  • Phenomenological and symmetry analyses of the phase transition based on the spectroscopy data (Raman spectra and IR absorption and refraction spectra) and domain structure visualization, namely, in the layered thrigonal and rhombic molybdates and tungstates.
  • Spontaneous and magnetic field induced cooperative ordering of the Jahn-Teller type.
  • Low – energy phonon spectra formation in the layered crystals and their role in the mechanisms in the ferroelastic phase transitions and cooperative instability of the Jahn-Teller type.
