Vladimir Andreevich Maidanov - Leading Researcher, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics.

He graduated from the Faculty of Physics of Kharkov State University in 1977.

Since 1975, he has been working at the Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, where he defended his Ph.D thesis (1987) and Doctoral dissertation (2003). He has the scientific title of Senior Researcher (1999).

Winner of the Award of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for the development and implementation of innovative technologies (2017).

Since 2008, works part-time as a professor at the National Technical University "KPI".

A course of lectures that reads:

1. Low Temperature Physics and Cryogenic Technique
2. Surface physics

He is the author and co-author of more than 190 scientific articles and inventions.

Area of scientific interests: physics of quantum liquids and crystals, low and ultralow temperature techniques, thermometry and metrology.
