Installation for quench-condensation of thin films and in situ studies of their galvanomagnetic properties in magnetic fields up to 6T in the temperature range 0.3 - 300K
The main features:
- a high-vacuum cryostat with oil-free pumping system (Adsorption pumps with zeolite and palladium silica gel, magnetodischarge ion pump, "Orbitron" pump. Residual gas pressure down to 2·10-8 Pa.);
- high-vacuum manipulators to operate the process of film condensation: moving of evaporators, stencils, shields and so on;
- optical control during the condensation process;
- refrigerator with 3He, to obtain and stabilize temperatures in the range 0.3 - 300 K;
- superconducting solenoid which allows to sweep the magnetic fields in the range from - 0.04 to +6.2 T with smooth transition through zero for temperatures up to 150 K.
