Professional Career:

Permanent staff of ILTP&E since 1988;

From 2011 is a Senior Research Scientist of the Department of Optical and Magnetic Properties of Solids.

 

Fields of Activity:

Magnetic materials on the base of 3d- and 4f- elements: rare-earth intermetallics, perovskite oxides, nano-scale materials. Magnetic properties of solids. Interplay between electronic, magnetic, charge and crystal lattice subsystems. Phase transformations. Phase segregated systems. Glassy magnetism. Multiferroics. Phase separation phenomena in perovskite oxides.

Responsible investigator of the Working Program of cooperation between Pavol Josef Šafarik University (UPJŠ) and B.I. Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering National Academy of Science of Ukraine (ILTP&E) 2007-2011

Coordinator of the ILTPE team involved in the TUMOCS (TUneable Multiferroics based on oxygen OCtahedral Structures) project, Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No. 645660 (2015 – 2018).
