The studies are dedicated to study of the temperature effects in low-dimensional crystal systems. In the spinel an exotic, orbitally driven metal-insulator (MI) transition is observed at . However, spectroscopic investigations presently do not agree with respect to the role of related lattice distortions and dynamic effects. Here, we present a detailed study of single-crystalline from different batches comparing detailed high- and low-temperature phonon spectra. |
