Molecular basics of drug-delivery agents functioning: development of mass spectrometry approach

The FeMS Empowerment Awards funds were used to purchase the chemicals (phospholipids) which are needed for mass spectrometry experiments in the framework of the current project “Molecular basics of drug-delivery agents functioning: development of mass spectrometry approach”. The project is aimed at establishing of molecular basics of drug-delivery agents functioning using new mass spectrometry-based approaches. The scientific aim of the project is to reveal the molecular mechanisms of action of agents facilitating the transdermal and transmembrane drugs delivery. The importance of the project subject is due to urgent demand for elaboration of more efficient and safe medicines, which can be partially solved by search of effective drug-delivery agents.
