SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT

The scientific program will start Monday, September 4 at 9.00 a.m. and end Thursday, September 7 in the evening. There will be lectures (30+5 min), oral presentations (20+5 min) and 2 poster sessions in the evenings of September 5 and 7.

All participants are kindly requested to send abstracts of their presentations over e-mail to cc2006@ilt.kharkov.ua. A LATex template can be found on the Conference website http://www.ilt.kharkov.ua/cc2006/ . In case of any problem, participants may send their abstracts in Word format. The abstracts are needed for the completion of the Book of Abstracts, in which abstracts will appear as submitted.

The Conference Proceedings will be published in Fizika Nizkikh Temperatur and, simultaneously, in English-language translated AIP journal Low Temperature Physics. Participants who plan to submit their presentation(s) for the subsequent publication in the Conference Proceedings should prepare their manuscripts in English according to the authors’ rules of Fizika Nizkikh Temperature ( http://fnte.ilt.kharkov.ua/fnt_e.html ). The manuscripts, which should not exceed 20 typed pages for lecturers and 15 pages for other presentations, will be refereed during and after Conference.

We remind that all participants, including the invited lecturers, must register and provide information needed for the Organizing Committee for hotel reservations and travel logistics. The form is at end of this announcement. Please fill it and send over e-mail as attachment.

The Conference fee is

Registration fee covers Book of abstracts with Conference Program, Get-together party, coffee breaks, and local transportation. The Conference dinner can be paid for during registration.

Participants will be accommodated hotels Mir and Kharkov or in a student-type hostel. The prices at the Kharkov hotel can be found at the hotel website. Detailed information about the student hostel will be posted later. The running price is 14-18 USD per night.

The Conference fee payment be made in US dollars to the following bank account. Make sure you indicated your name and bank transfer destination (marked red in Table below). The fee can also be paid during registration in cash. Payments for hotel rooms will be made during check-in at the hotels.

Participants are kindly requested to provide as soon as possible the relevant information about their travel schedules and routes in order to facilitate Organizing Committee’s assistance at airports and RW terminals.

Citizens of the following countries do not need to have visas when entering Ukraine:

Union of Independent States (including Russia, Kazakhstan, Moldova)

All countries of European Community

Switzerland

USA

Canada

Japan

Participants from Israel, Africa, and Brazil must apply for their visas. In case any participant for any reason needs a formal invitation letter from Conference Organizing Committee, please request Conference Chair or Secretary as soon as possible.
