FIELD OF SCIENTIFIC INTEREST

  • Analysis of currently existing experimental of data on the study of CJTE in the isostructural compounds double molybdates in order of the approach to understanding of the magnetoelasticity.
  • Phenomenological and symmetry analyses of the phase transition based on the spectroscopy data (Raman spectra and IR absorption and refraction spectra) and domain structure visualization, namely, in the layered thrigonal and rhombic molybdates and tungstates.
  • Establishing patterns of spontaneous and magnetic field induced cooperative ordering of the Jahn-Teller type.
  • Analysis of low – energy phonon spectra formation in the layered crystals and their role in the mechanisms in the ferroelastic phase transitions and cooperative instability of the Jahn-Teller type.
